Welcome to North Wirral Coastal Park
The North Wirral Coastal Park is a linear park, four miles in length and 68.5ha in area, embracing public open space, common land, coastal viewpoints and sand-dunes. The park stretches from Derby Pool New Brighton to Dove Point Meols and spans four wards – Hoylake and Meols, Moreton West and Saughall Massie, Leasowe and Moreton East and New Brighton.
Key features and visitor attractions are:-
- Historic Leasowe Lighthouse.
- Coastal walks with views of the sea.
- Designated and concessionary bridleways and cycle-routes.
- Access to bathing beaches and foreshore.
- Several picnic areas and areas of open access formal grassland.
- Sand dunes and wildflower meadows which support rich wildlife communities.
